Cableguys filtershaper core 2 is in your budget

Yes, but I didn't like its sound. I liked the sound of Filtershaper3 (not vst3!!) and Filterstation2, not as good as the sound of Volcano, but they cost 1/3 of the price. Probably I go with Filterstation 2

Kilohearts Non Linear Filter, Ladder Filter and Filter are all free now. Id 100% snag those and give them a go. Toneboosters Dual VCF is great as is Soundtoys Filterfreak. As much as I like Cableguys Shaperbox, I never reach for it just for filter duties. I often reach for one of the Kilohearts Filters for workflow and sound. Especially within Snap Heap where i can apply quick modulation and mix control.

Indeed, I discovered it later. However it seems they are only one filter (LPF12 and LPF24) with resonance settings.

Thanks, they are good, however I avoid any C/R copy protection (or dongle) system like a plague. I'm always swapping my PC components, and they usually crash on startup. Further, if I pay for it, I want to be the owner and don't ask for permission to install it

Yes, it's very good, perfect for its price. I wrote to Audio Damage to ask few minor details, but I'm still waiting for a reply. Anyway I think I will pick it if I don't see a better option. btw: Cableguys confirmed they're working in FilterShape 4.
