There seem to be several issues with MSuperLooper in 16.0, one is mentioned in other thread, here's another: I have MSL set up to have the Record function controlled by a key press on an external controller. Worked fine in 15.02 (although I had to manually go in and make an adjustment to the enabling function, it wouldn't save with the preset). Doesn't work in 16.0. I was able to roll back MSL to 15.02 and get it working again without a complete reinstall of 15.02, so that's good.

If Melda needs more detailed info on the issues with MIDI including the preset saving issue, I can provide them. I have a live demo in a few days which will feature MSL as part of it. I know the Melda ecosystem is very complex, and most of what I say will be very positive - I use and really like a ton of Melda plugins, a lot - but this is a problem.

Win10 and Reaper here, I cannot replicate your issues.
I don't recall seeing any changes to MSL in the update release notes, but I could be wrong.

Midi mapping saves with project no problem, and Record function and others all work as they did before 16. I did also do a full cleanup with the installer before the update to 16.

You don't mention DAW or OS, so that's where to start looking I think.
Good luck,
Dirk

Hi Dirk, thanks - since the downgrade to 15.02 works as it did before, I don't think it's an OS or DAW problem, but of course I should have included that info anyway! Editing original post to include.

A bit more info: the issue with record enable is this: I have a preset saved in MSL for MIDI settings. That's because when I open MSL, the MIDI settings I saved it with do not come back. So, I manually load the MIDI Settings preset after I open MSL. Fine, except that in the Notes tab, I have a range of notes set to toggle Record on and off. I want it to load as "off" i.e. the box unchecked (see attachment), but no matter what, when I load the MIDI settings preset it loads with the box checked. That is, when I save the MIDI settings preset with that box unchecked, next time I load it the box is checked.

I would expect: 1. When MSL loads, the MIDI settings it was saved with would load as well. And if not, when I load the preset I want to use, the Record enable box would be in the state I saved it - off, not on.
