Routing MIDI Messages in Logic Pro X

Hello,

I'm trying to get DP Meter Pro 4 to send MIDI messages to a MIDI port on the IAC Driver (on macos). I'm a bit lost as most of the tutorials assume I want to control another blue cat plugin within the same DAW, while I'm trying to control external MIDI hardware (as the product description says it does). I'm probably missing something but I'm really struggling to get hold of the MIDI messages. This is what I've tried

- In the settings of the DP Meter Pro 4 instance, I enabled MIDI for Transformed on Channel 1 CC 4
- Created an external MIDI track with my IAC Driver specified as output port
- Trying to use the Logic Pro X Environment to feed the MIDI messages from the track with the DP Meter Pro 4 instance to the external MIDI track so that I can use the MIDI messages using another application

Is there some way of doing this?

Thanks for any help

I remember that there used to be a way to route parameter changes as if they were MIDI events using the environment, but it stopped working at some point and I don't know if it works again.

Logic is quite strange regarding MIDI anyway and does not read the MIDI output of plug-ins (except MIDI effects), as far as I remember.

Maybe a way to do it would be to use the DPMP together with Connector loaded inside PatchWork and send MIDI to an instance of Connector loaded as a MIDI FX on the MIDI track. But it's a bit cumbersome... :-(
