It's data, not mystical energi. Just using stock plugins in FL Studio, you can do amazing things.
From PA, I'd get Tantra for sure. Also all the UA plugins, except Lion because it's annoying

Tantra 2 is nice
for creative effects
it's a little higher on cpu
than average pa plugins

I have to agree that at least personally it really feels pretty much like that, yeah. I don't remember any PA plugin being mentioned (ever) as a "go-to" in the same way as, for example, MMorph from MeldaProduction, or the Kilohearts stuff, and so on. There must be exceptions, like there always is when talking about preferences, but generally speaking it feels like this indeed.
