Isnt it kind of funny how the Digital Vs. Analog conversation is like the Never - ending Story on KVR; yet most KVRlers still sleeping on Xhun Audio. Shouldnt the Aim of 'creating' Warmth inside the Box be exact and accurate Component - modeling paired with High - quality internal processing?

Hi,
ModFlorus is native Intel compatible but you can run the software on M1 or M2 macOS (Apple CPU) as well, using Rosetta 2.
Native Apple Silicon support wil be considered further.

Considered further?
What is there to consider? Remaining in business?
Apple no longer makes computers with Intel processors.

Any chance of a switch for all three. Only effect, blend of dry and effect, dry only?xhunaudio wrote: Mon Sep 05, 2022 6:53 am Note : only the Chorus / Flanger WET signal is fed into the analogue saturation circuit.

Apple is free to make whatever it want.
If you do not agree their strategy about subscribing and paying for dev ids, notarizations, etc. (in general : the Apple "development train" they set up in the recent years), you are free not to follow them.
It is not business, it's a life choice.

If I correctly understood, yes - all combinations are possible. The BLEND parameter blends(...) between dry and wet signals while the SATR parameter sets the saturation amount from zero upward. Just turn the knobs to get your effect.
This saturation circuit is modeled specifically for the chorus / flanger purpose. For the purpose of using just the saturation "alone", a specific "SnapLab device" will be released further.
That's indeed the core idea of SnapLab : affordable, self-contained devices with a specific "scope" and a very low price (9.90 USD with intro offer).

Sorry, no idea what Snaplab is.

I might be more sympathetic to your complaints about Apple charging fees if you didn’t charge for your products.xhunaudio wrote: Sun Sep 18, 2022 5:02 amApple is free to make whatever it want.

Anyways, I would have bought a few of them if they supported my platform.

SnapLab = a special lineup of Xhun Audio products which have a low cost and a focused scope.morelia wrote: Sun Sep 18, 2022 6:46 am
So, SATR can affect the dry signal?
Sorry, no idea what Snaplab is.
This lineup has 2 devices so far : KickBeat and ModFlorus. Other devices will follow.
Example :
if you need a good sounding, bread-and-butter chorus and/or flanger processor without too many parameters you can get ModFlorus for a low cost. It is made for that specific chorus / flanger purpose and the few extras you'll find inside are specifically suited for its chorus / flanger purpose. The included saturation circuit (designed on purpose) is placed after the chorus / flanger processor (hardwired), so you can't use the SATR alone.
For saturation (alone), a specific, low cost "SnapLab" device will be released further.
This is the SnapLab concept. This is the exact opposite to (for example) ShineVerb or FilterCult.
In that cases, you get a complete setup (in one "monolithic" software) for reverberation or analogue filtering.

And it's not my last word, I can always change my mind soon. At now, this is my position.

Ahh, I see. I get the SnapLab idea now.
BTW. Is there a preset browser bug? Can't load any factory presets. Reaper 6. Windows 10.

No bugs, just be sure to copy all the presets files into the proper folder on your computer and you'll be able to load them directly from the presets browser.
It's all described in the installation instructions (.html file included in the product package).

The payment methods ? ...
My products are the result of my (passionate) work and they have a (fair, imho) price.
There have been no price charges (or changes) due to "Apple-compatibility" related things. Prices are related just to my work, as I said before (and we're talking about 9.90 USD for ModFlorus just to say one).
The point is that Apple is asking you to :
- obey their constantly changing rules
- pay them an annual fee
- register your personal data on their servers (and let them sell that data)
- constantly buy their hardware (M1, M2, ...)
- make a big smile at each notarization bug
This way, I can obtain the privilege of deploying for their platforms. So, I should feel lucky and happy to pay them while working in order to support and add value to their OSes and platforms.
In the passed decades, things have always been the opposite for computing / software development (and there is a reason for that).
This kind of "Far-West" behaviors are typical of the "interesting times" we're living and (at least for now) I prefer not to adhere this Great (Development) Reset.
