Hi, after installing one new plugin i just bought (mVintageRotary), with the latest 16.00 installer - every plugin in all projects has been reset. All plugins from Melda is now in the same setting that is default for each plugin when opening the plugin as a new insert.
I use Cubase Pro 11 & 12.
When i installed the plugin i did not do the "Quick Cleanup", and i did just mark that one plugin to be installed - not the ones i got installed from before.
Now im scared to do anything before i get an answer from you
I really hope you have a solution for getting this back to normal asap.
I got one big album project that ive been working on for couple months and several other mixes that now sounds really bad and will take days to redo.

There is a new save format for version 16. You can update all your plugins to V16 with the new installer after doing Quick Cleanup. In the future if you want to install a single new plugin, use the installer you've previously used.
If you want to go keep your old version, first open MVintageRotary and go to "Settings / Compatibility settings" and enable "Storage compatibility mode for V15", then save the settings. Then install MVintageRotary with the old installer. (You should probably run Quick Cleanup and reinstall all the other plugins to be save)
At least that's my guess. If that doesn't work, try the contact form on the website.

Glad you resolved the issue! That can be really scary. Backwards compatibility is so important. I used to regularly use a dozen plugins from a different developer but had to quit after new versions would not recall old session settings. We always say that the sound is the most important thing, but the ability to save and recall sessions is what makes working in the box so powerful. Without that, nothing else matters.

Note the backwards compatibility should be intact. BUT if you save something with the new version, the previous versions will NOT load the settings. That should be quite expected, but still worth mentioning.
