It would be useful to have a wider range of templates for MSoundFactory for sound designers to use. Perhaps users can contribute some of their best ones to build a larger library of templates?

There are templates/presets all over MSF. Maybe you mean the whole Generator section specifically?

In the GLOBAL PRESETS - Sound design templates folder.

In other words, the instrument and effects structures that you can build sounds upon.

They could have a lot more templates in the global presets, and there are quite a lot of modules with no templates at all

I'm such a nerd, starting out with a blank slate every time (I enjoy this very much!), so I have great difficulties understanding what need this fills, that isn't already there in all presets. You can go pretty much anywhere in MSF, so starting points can become hundreds. If I were to create starting points, I would feel pretty lost in regards to what to create and where to draw the line/where to stop.

However I slice it in my mind, there's the same process of learning every module over time anyway. MSF is that kind of environment. Reverse engineering a preset isn't that different from "starting points".

If you are not into solo deep diving experimentation - presets is the way to go. Anyway, I hope you get around MSF and enjoy the process. :)

Are you just hanging around to contradict everything people ask for?

No, I'm just discussing (it's a discussion forum?) and picking other peoples brains, if anything. I'm curious and I often learn myself through others ways of thinking. Sorry if it came out negatively.
