Be a lot of people downloading from non-EU sites for the 150 USD price which will probably be discounted down again by some of the better online shops

Crazy that it's the same cost top go from V1 as it is from 5...skipping a few versions is really where the value is.

Nah, it's just not made for guys like you who want heavy EDM tweaking. You should be using Bitwig.

I bought the 5-6 upgrade and its given me a 5 license

It’s a fairly sparse update whatever type of music you make for the upgrade cost (especially from 5.5) but will no doubt be worth it to some.
