is that possible in W12? (Eg. a step modifer + lfo) It doesn't look like it is, but thought there might be an alternative way of doing it.
I thought i could put the modifier on another track and drag it to a plugin on another, and yes, it lets you do that, but... it doesn't actually seem to do anything when you play the track. ie. the modifier updates (assuming i add an empty midi clip - a modifier on an empty track wont update at all) - but the parameter on the 2nd track isnt actually affected.

Right click the plugin and wrap in a new rack plugin. Add your modifier inside the rack, assign it to a parameter via the green input and a second green modifier input will appear. Add another modifier and connect etc. Click on the modifier and click assignments in the bottom of the rack to adjust.

ooh, that's really cool. That basically lets you build modular style setups (except maybe there's no way to trigger notes on instruments via modifier outputs? it would need a signal to midi converter plugin)... I am familiar with racks (don't generally use them much) but had no idea you could add modifier nodes to them like that in Waveform.
I still think adding multiple modifiers to a track without using racks would be a simpler workflow most of the time but im going to have fun messing around with this....
