[FR] On click of a sequence midi clip colour it and all other clips that are the same in the project the same colour. Alternatively could create a fixed colour border around each clip that is the same (instead of colouring them)
A menu option to turn this feature on/off.
Another feature to colour all midi clips in a project the same colour if they are exactly the same (the midi notes are all the same).?
Another feature to highlight in some way (colour or border them) sequence midi clips in the entire project that are completely unique and have no other copies in the project.
Another feature for those people who actually name their midi clips then allow selecting and highlight in some way all other same named clips.
I haven't thouht this throuh properly ust putting it out there. I do not like having to inspect / open midi clips and have to use my eye to see if they are te same or not.

I often do subtle changes to my midi clips.
I realize the picture on each midi clip does help to distinguish between different clips.

You can name and link clips so you instantly know if they are the same.

I have not tried that yet, thanks for the suggestion.humanboeing wrote: Tue Oct 04, 2022 6:21 am You can name and link clips so you instantly know if they are the same.
Thouh I fear most of my Mulab projects are beyond trying that fix because i copy and paste clips all the time thereby creating new clips with new names and my projects are littered like that. Would take too much time and effort to sort that out.

Yes, that'd probably take a lot of time to sort it out, but you can gradually improve the situation if you start to copy clips using ctrl+shift+drag, so the copy of the clip is shared.hope4ever wrote: Sat Oct 08, 2022 12:13 amI have not tried that yet, thanks for the suggestion.humanboeing wrote: Tue Oct 04, 2022 6:21 am You can name and link clips so you instantly know if they are the same.
