How to have PatchWork 2.6 transpose one MIDI slot up one Octave?

I've been using PatchWork since V2.31 & it seems like it ALMOST does what I need it to do, but not quite. It's always possible it's just a loose nut behind the keyboard. Is there a way to do have one slot do a MIDI transpose, say up an octave? I'm using an 88 key piano keyboard that can split & play a different MIDI channel on each side of the split. I play keyboard bass with my left hand, but very few of the the VSTi/AU that are for bass, seem to have an option to transpose, because it's a basic function for most hosts & the bass plugins almost never map a bass to the pitch/MIDI note number they correspond to & A0 (MIDI note number 21) always ends up being off the bottom end of the 88 key piano keyboard. In a DAW, I can just transpose it up one Octave & it comes out right where it should, or at least in the same place as it is on a Piano. I've not found a way to transpose just one MIDI slot with PatchWork, but I keep hoping that something so basic would just show up in each new release that comes along, but so far, that has not happened. If I'm just missing how to do this, would somebody please tell me what I need to do to accomplish this? If not, is there a place for feature requests for PatchWork? Thank you.

The idea with PatchWork is that you can do this with plug-ins (I think there are a couple of MIDI plug-ins that can do that). You just add a MIDI plug-in in a slot before the synth, route its output to the synth thru a virtual MIDI port (it's all explained in the manual), and that's it!
