Hi everyone,

I've got some samples as one big wave file and I want to chop it up into multiple notes for editing.

I also want to save the root key and save the root key name in the sample name.

What is the best program to do this automatically so that I don't have to sit there and chop up every note?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Waveknife is designed for this. Don't know weather it also detects the pitch, but chopping is catered for!

Just remember this....
No Auto program will give you a properly edited Sample.
They will autochop etc ....but there are tricks to make the sample perfect that the autochoppers do not do.
