Yeah, I will make the jump to the m2/m3 macpro platform in the future and therefore I am checking all new stuff on native M compability and it is not very clear in lots of cases.jamcat wrote: ↑Sat Sep 17, 2022 7:14 pm
But, as we’ve seen many times, that can just mean “compatible through Rosetta2.” Many developers have been cagey and purposely misleading about this.
So, developers need to be conscious of this and explicitly state “Apple Silicon native” when applicable. Most of us on M1 look for that, specifically, and assume it’s not native if it’s not stated.

It seems to be natively compatible with AppleSillicon. In my environment (M1 MacBook Air) it appears to work natively without Rosetta.

Checked this out and found the various libraries to sound fantastic. Many of the presets seem to work instantly in a mix.
Curious if anybody had compared to either Altiverb or LiquidSonics' offerings

Why not give it the demo try anyway? I think everybody has different tastes. By the way, it's my go-to reverb nowadays.

I tried it out. Not a fan of Impulse Responses, but that's merely my preference. I'm sure it's a great product and high value considering the sale price.

Just got this through the current sale they have going on. My word! I already had Glow, which is an incredible 80's style reverb plugin, but I was not expecting what 80's Spaces was capable of. I thought it would be similar to Glow...damn I was wrong.
This thing is a powerful sound design tool when it comes to crafting 80's style industrial drums. The way it mangles the audio is so interesting. It takes a little fiddling and layering to get the exact sound I'm looking for, but it's also presenting options to me I hadn't even considered until now.
I can highly recommend it for those looking to crunch up their sounds.
