    • Arrow left/right - Switch to insert a device brefore/after the currently selected device (if any)
    • Zoom - Switch to replace the currently selected device (if any)
    • Jogwheel - Scroll the results
• Push 1
  • Fixed: Browser mode could crash if presets contained non-ASCII characters.

Hi
I have a weird bug using Push 2 with Bitwig
Recording to a new clip (using the 'new' button on Push), the piano roll records the input 2 bars ahead of what's playing. There are some situations when this bug doesn't occur, but I can't pin down what I'm doing different.
Any idea what might be going on? User error? Did I change a setting somewhere deep in the app?

(I've updated to the latest versions of Bitwig and DrivenByMoss)

That is ironic that your script is the thing that makes me stick with Bitwig in these trouble times. And you don't even get any money from them...

Here's a quick video showing the issue.
I create a new clip using the Push 2 "New" button
A new clip is created (you see the piano roll) and it records as expected
Then I create a second new clip, the same way, but this time, the input is recorded to the piano roll 2 bars ahead of the playhead.
Make any sense to you?

Strange. I tried again but cannot reproduce this behaviour. What are your settings in the Play menu?
Maybe also contact Bitwig support.

Are you aware of this extension by kernicPanel? It is a very handy tool that allows to select a random device/preset/sample amongst the one that have been filtered in the browser. Do you think it would be doable to integrate it in your script so it could be used directly from the controllers?

Yes, I am aware of it. But no, I have no plans to integrate it.

Hi, I am using an EC4 by faderfox with the Flexi setup. All works fine except for the device parameters. Once I select one of the device parameters Bitwig doesn't respond, it is odd because I can see the midi is being sent when in settings before I press set to capture the pot. Any ideas would be a great help. Thanks

Could it be that the knob also sends a touch event? Note, that you can always set it manually.
