I don't care about these devices at all but I'm glad to see this mess resolved and things put right.
How is ver 4.4 on Windows? I mean is it stable? No major bugs? I'm thinking about finally getting up to date. I've had an active upgrade plan for like the last 8-9 months but I'm still on like 4.1.x, I think. I'd have to look.

4.3.4 is pretty stable and worth upgrading to I'd say.JHernandez wrote: Tue Oct 11, 2022 5:27 pm I don't care about these devices at all but I'm glad to see this mess resolved and things put right.

Funny, I've been one the most constant voices complaining about this, but I at the moment anyway see zero change from this. My plan ran out and the usual deal is in place, it was good until 4.4. Jrr Shop had a Blowout deal on the Update Plan and Spectral suite for $169. My cost to renew my plan to be able to upgrade to 4.4 is $169.
I'm not at all Butthurt about it, it was never really about the money. It actually works out in their favor here. I like the idea of the Spectral suit and I want to toss Bitwig some actually earned cash, so getting a years worth of updates and the Spectral suite now instead of later is great! I'll probably always use Live sometimes, and DP is my main old school DAW, but Bitwig is always fun, always interesting.
To people still upset about it, they're a tiny company, no dragons were slain, and IMO we need to feed the beast. Do you want Bitwig to suffer because you have some sort of need for punishment? or do you want them to do well?

So, whats that. Exactly the same?machinesworking wrote: Wed Oct 12, 2022 4:40 am My cost to renew my plan to be able to upgrade to 4.4 is $169.![]()
Well of all of this the sentiment seems to have shifted more postively to Bitwig overall. Much better people are talking of getting upgrades, than never getting an upgrade again.
Maybe... maybe... they will even try and do some more regular communications going forwards.

You should apply for the job as their new communication director._leras wrote: Wed Oct 12, 2022 8:27 amSo, whats that. Exactly the same?machinesworking wrote: Wed Oct 12, 2022 4:40 am My cost to renew my plan to be able to upgrade to 4.4 is $169.![]()

Best choice they can make.

Enrize wrote: Tue Oct 11, 2022 12:25 pm I see it as they made it 4.4 exactly for this reason (to take some of your update plan). They could make it 4.3.11, right? Or they can move it to 4.4 with everything else they had originally in mind for 4.4, right? If Spectral Suite was planned as add-on, there is definitely something planned for 4.4 update apart from Spectral Suite. Yet, they choose to make it 4.4.
Looks like everything I said was right. As there is no 4.5/5.0 on the horizon, means you all pay for Spectral Suite anyway with your upgrade plan. Bravo Bitwig, you tricked everybody once again!
