It's a wonderful tool, but the "arpeggiator" mode needs some improvements to make it more suitable for live playing keyboardist. Placing a 3 different note blocks on the same step (chord) while playing one note only results with the note being played 3 times louder (3 x note on). Also, a sequence of 3 different pitches (each on different step) is not being translated properly (in the "arp" mode) - when playing one note only we expect to hear the lowest step only - the others should be activated when more key are pressed on the keyboard. The same applies to the "sequence player" with "arp mode" activated.

I was messing about with that yesterday and had the same thoughts. Though, the manual does explain how to start and stop pretty well.
Maybe part of the problem is that people rely too much on forums and need to know there is a manual available?

Having to reach a "user guide" for something to work can also indicate a design flaw within the software itself. Adding an option "play with host" would make it more intuitive and easier to use.
P.S. Ideally, an option visible on the Sequencer GUI - not hidden in the menu.

True. I wasn't suggesting it was purely user error, just that if user know about the manual, solutions can often be found quicker.
Maybe a keyboard built into the sequencer would be useful and more intuitive?

It can be! All the suggestions we make on the forum are valuable, and I hope the developer doesn't see us here as the "pain in the ass".sl23 wrote: Tue Oct 18, 2022 12:06 pm Maybe a keyboard built into the sequencer would be useful and more intuitive?

You can add a keyboard module yourself, and integrate it into a front panel if you wish.sl23 wrote: Tue Oct 18, 2022 12:06 pm Maybe a keyboard built into the sequencer would be useful and more intuitive?

All constructive suggestions are much appreciated
But i cannot reply on all of them.
My apologies for the limitations of the 1 dev situation.

Our thanks for the advantages of the 1 dev situation.
(e.g. great expressive power within a simple design)

And not forgetting a dev that listens! Albeit there is obviously the limitation of actually not being able to incorporate every FR, but we understand.

Unfortunately researching vst3 is a huge huge time drain.
Incredible how overcomplicated and how badly documented that sdk is.
