BUYERS BEWARE - I got scammed buying from Kamikase.

I bought Softube Tube-Tech CL1B license, activated and it worked at first.

Later on I couldn’t login to my iLok and support said that they locked my account on Softube’s request.

When I contacted Softube they replied:

"The owner of the card used to purchase the code registered by your account, contacted us and reported the purchase as fraudulent. Standard procedure is to revoke the license and lock the iLock account involved."

I explained the situation to Softube and opened a claim with PayPal.

Kamikase did not respond over PayPal so I escalated the claim (to which he did not respond as well) and PayPal refunded the money. (I didn’t use friends & family and I described what was purchased when sending the funds)

In the end, Softube removed the license from the account and unlocked my iLok.

It was a month long process, lots of back and forth, inconvenience and frustration.

This was my first purchase on KVR and it makes me think twice about buying second-hand plugins at all.
