It is sort of hard to autogain volume with a non-linear effect such as a compressor (or saturation, for that matter). You either do it the dumb way (you use heuristics, or even just a direct relation between input and output) or you measure the RMS power of the signal and autocompensate (which still requires user input, in some way, for example to instruct the program to listen and then set the compensation). Even very good and expensive plugins with autocompensation don't really get it right in my experience.

TDR plugins do it really well, I find Vos being just as talented, and asume that when he made that option, it'd work better, therefore think it's some kind of issue and as it seems not everybody has it, was just wondering, itd make using it a lot easier. I contacted the developer, not sure if he's working on it, but he's informed that it existsampetrosillo wrote: Thu Oct 20, 2022 5:16 pm It is sort of hard to autogain volume with a non-linear effect such as a compressor (or saturation, for that matter). Very first impressions.
The good; it seems to do something subtle I like.
The bad; the UI for the nut knobs that are a white line over light grey are hard to see. I imagine that the rationale was to keep the original skeumorphic UI and that flowstone UIs are not very flexible.
Anyways, more good than bad. Thanks for this one!

What is even happening? Why the ping... oh... ohkay.
TL;DR (for me at least):
Nice to see a native x64 version (finally). Unfortunately once Steinberg will drop VST2, I won't be able to use the VOS tools anymore. And many, many more for that matter.
(also, please jens... it's "Fox". Thanks)

-UPDATE- A nice gentleman send me the file, so it's no longer needed
This might be a long shot but worth a try.
I'm working on an older project that uses the bridged 32bit version and Reaper is struggling with it. Since the 64bit version is no longer available as download from the website, is there any chance someone can provide me with the file? Would be highly appreciated!
