Newbie question, anyone have a recommendation of forums and/or websites they frequently check for bargain discussions and classifieds (similar-to, but outside of this one)? So far I only know KVR, the PA Gearspace thread, VI control, and Knobcloud. Any others worth adding to the list? Cheers

I realized I forgot an increasingly useful resource, though -- this new-ish site aims to track both current and previous deals on plugins and sample libraries, so it may come in handy when trying to evaluate whether that "GR3ATT DEAL!!!!1!" on a new toy is, in fact, "great", or indeed a "deal":

It's still in active development, but one of the coders stops by the CW forum, VI-C and possibly here on a regular basis to triage bugs, take requests, etc.

Looks like a pretty useful tool that could have saved me a lot of time & money over the years Also like how the creators participate in the community and really listen to feedback, that’s a must these days

I don't think having the original VPRE-73 gets you anything related to the Halloween Edition. I have the original, and there's no upgrade offer or discount on their website.

FWIW, there's a pop-up on their website that says you'll get $15 off your next purchase for signing up for their newsletter, but I don't know if there is a purchase minimum or conditions.

Thats likely to be vat being added to the £ price.
$149 = £132.
£132 + 20% vat = £158.4.
