The improved UI looks more modern and more streamlined. The previous version got too many parameters at the upper right, and is more difficult to find the correct one.

Also in v2, I'd always been unable to trigger some white noise "out of thin air", without having to add another dummy MIDI track. This isn't a problem at all in v3. I guess the Sync is also a newly added function besides Audio Triggering?

Better ergonomics in many ways I'd say.

As someone who has to and likes to work quickly the new browser (and audio trigger) are my two favourite new features so far.

Feature request if I may:

Mix lock on the master mix to set at desired amount for cycling through presets etc. I know I could use as a send but would be better to have the option on the plugin.

I PMed them here but have not heard back yet. I pointed out the impact of excluding such time contraint information. I wish devs would pay better attention to covering such important info so we dont have to spend time trying to fill in the gaps.

No, ShaperBox 3 is a completely separate plugin to ShaperBox 2, so it won't automatically 'upgrade' your existing projects.

Great upgrade, though I'm missing a random sample and hold shape that changes continuously over time loop after loop (like AudioModern Filterstep); that would be quite killer for me...
I'm upgrading anyway though, also waiting for the CLAP version (so that this thing could be achieved at DAW level...)

My guess and I am going to test it is they are different folders and if you copy across your presets you will be fine..

Couldn't find anywhere local where it saves user presets alas.
Time to read the manual for me.

What I thought would have worked was sync to the cloud, but haven't been able to get that to take my SB2 presets across to SB3.
