Hi, I see this error every time when my project contains more than one instance of MuLab Plugin and I close it without saving or just unload all instances of the plugin.

According to the log file:

Error VPM[676]
Error VPM[163]

It doesn't cause any problems though, I guess it's just a diagnostic message.

Usually the message says there are 4, 6, or 10 errors logged (depending of the number of plugin instances I use).

Not a big problem, I use to see a greater number of errors some time ago :D

P.S. It only happens when I use a 3rd party VSTs with MuLab plugin, and the errors IDs are different (depending of the VST I use)

Confirmed new issue in M9.0.56 as a consequence of the works on the plugin system.
Will be fixed. Thx for reporting this.

Oops that's a lot of errors.
Do you still have the log file of that session?

Yes, but that's a quite old log (May 2022). I haven't seen anything like that since then.

I'm quite sure this has been fixed meanwhile.

It's possible this one has been fixed in M9.0.48. (Automation of inactive module bug fix)
If the Error PEG[216] would occur again, please try to keep project that repeats it. Thx.

The new error wrt using VST plugins will be fixed asap in M9.0.57.

I'm also pretty sure it has been fixed - the number of logged errors may look scary, but it never caused any problems. In fact, I found MuLab to be rock solid - it never crashed o my system:)

Post

The high number indeed may look scary but the error count is not related to the seriousness, only to the frequency. Eg. the PEG errors occurred in the process threads and thus occurred many times per second, but it's just about the same error. Fixed meanwhile.

Please keep on reporting any error alerts by sharing the log file, whatever the error count.
Thanks!

Thx.
Is this repeatable?
If yes what's the most simple repeatable pattern?

I was unable to repeat it. Not sure if that's the case, but I right-clicked the MUX and I choose "copy", then unloaded MuLab Plugin without pasting.

It seems to be related to Scaler 2.7 vst

Post

So it only happens with that specific plugin?
