MEqualizer Automation jumps instead of smooth motion?

Hey, So I'm automating the frequency of one of the MEqualizer filter bands in Logic Pro x, but the filter jumps down the frequency when following the automation instead of smoothly following the automation. Anybody know what's making this happen? I've switched the EQ for the logic stock EQ and a Waves Q10, both of them follow the curve without jumping.
Cheers

Do you as I have here settings for "smart interpolation" under "settings"? I can't remember what is standard features for the free edition and what are upgraded features. Try setting these higher and see if that helps. If it's not that I'm not sure if it could be a Logic issue somehow or something you need to send a report on by e-mail to have technical support look into.El Bura wrote: Wed Apr 22, 2020 1:18 pm Hey, So I'm automating the frequency of one of the MEqualizer filter bands in Logic Pro x, but the filter jumps down the frequency when following the automation instead of smoothly following the automation. BTW Windows or Mac and what version OS? Sometimes that might matter.

Hey, thanks for getting back to me on this one. Good shout on the interpolation, I tried changing it from normal to extreme but the issue seems to be unchanged. Just to confirm here through, once you change the interpolation, do the devices need to be restarted? I tried this and the interpolation automatically jumped back to normal when I reloaded the device, should this happen?Gone soft wrote: Fri Apr 24, 2020 7:01 pmDo you as I have here settings for "smart interpolation" under "settings"? I'm running MacOS 15.10.4 with Logic 10.4.8.
I've tried it in Ableton Live 10.1.9 and the frequency follows the smooth curve of the automation. So this seems to be logic specific. I also tried a few other Melda plugins in logic and they also jump through the automation to varying degrees. I'm not sure if this is a Logic of Melda issue. It's a total pain ether way.
I've raised a bug report with Apple and just pinged the Melda team. Hopefully I can get this fixed.

Does it SOUND like that or you are judging it only by visual response? (which would be very possible, since audio rendering has priority)
Could you post a video?

I'm also having this problem, it seems like automation of Melda plugin parameters in Logic is very 'stepped' and low resolution. This is definitely an audible thing and not just visual. Is there a setting to help with this?
