Since you're posting in the Meldaproduction forum, I will assume that you're asking which Meldaproduction plug-ins help getting a good sound for drum and bass.
To "create" drum and bass, the tool to start with would be MDrummer, which includes many drum patterns, including drum and bass. For the synth sounds, MSoundFactory (either LE or the full version) has a large menu to choose from.
To process your tracks for maximum punch and impact, MTransient, MCompressor, MEQualizer (both included in the MFreeFX bundle), MTurboComp, MDynamics. For modulation FX, the FreeFX bundle has multiple choices. For time-based FX, MTurboDelay and MTurboReverb can take care of any task. For glitchy reverse and tapestop FX, MRhythmizer. Buy them individually or in a bundle.
For your live sound issues, the MFreeFX bundle is a great place to start, with several utilities like MOscilloscope. MAnalyzer, MOscillator, and MNoisegenerator can help you measure the audio spectrum and tune your PA.
When you do make your first purchase, be sure to sign up for the newsletter, which gets you a credit of €10, as well as using a referral credit, which gets you 20% off the list price of the product. You can likely get a referral credit by PM'ing someone who regularly posts on this forum (like me). If you wait for the plug-in(s) or bundle(s) you want to come up in a 50% off sale, the savings will be substantial. And there's probably a 50% off everything sale coming up this holiday season.
