Hello guys,

i made a custom plugin and GUI, working from windows.

When I try to export the plugin, I got a tiny message telling me :
To enable this feature, set write permission to Resources/bin folder.

Can anyone tell my what'this ? How I do this ?
Every time I try to export ( built ), it's a failled, so I guess it's because of this write permission, but I dont know what to do.

Thx you :)

when you installed PnS, did you install as administrator on your computer, or standard user elevating to admin ?

That's odd. Have you checked that the export folder exists and is writable? Have you changed the location of the exports?

Ohhh Thx, I was using the progam in guest the whole time :scared:

Anyway, I succed to export the plugin in VST3 and AXX ( 64 bit ), but any programm recognise it ( cubase, reaper, Davinci,... )

I put the VST3 directly in my "programme files (x86)/common files/VST3", but nothing...
Any body have an idea what's happen ?

Thx

The "Program Files x86" folder is for 32-bit apps and plug-ins, so if you are exporting 64-bit plug-ins to load in 64-bit apps (which most apps are nowadays), you want to put the exported plug-ins in the "Program Files" folder instead (not x86).

Also, please make sure to copy the associated data folder as well, as explained in the manual.

You should mention that this is message from the LM Skin for PnS you're using. If you set the "write" permission to that folder (depending on Windows or Mac you can google how to do that) than you'll be able to export only the plugin formats you choose (via checkboxes). Otherwise all formats will be exported.

BTW Blue Cat Audio didn't make LM Skin, so they are responsible only for Plug'n Script itself and for the default skin it comes with.
