Not sure the deal counts if you buy from a distributor. Urs can clarify how that works.
Fwiw, i think buying it used or at another seller also applies to the whole deal. Why shouldn't it in the end?

Well, you don't get all the Zebra sound sets:

https://u-he.com/products/soundsets/zeb ... dsets.html

And, it appears that it will cost more:

What is Zebra Legacy?

Zebra2 plus all our Zebra soundsets for free (including The Dark Zebra with its ZebraHZ). Zebra Legacy replaces all those individual products at the extraordinarily generous price of 99€ (does not include an upgrade path to Zebra3).

When can I get it?

Zebra Legacy will be available from our web store on November 15th, replacing all the individual products.

What happens on that day?

If you already own a Zebra2 license before November 15th, you can simply download and install Zebra Legacy. Your Zebra2 license will also work for ZebraHZ. You will have an upgrade path to Zebra3 for 30€. If you also own The Dark Zebra, your upgrade to Zebra3 (ETA pending) will be free.

It's already been said that used licences are eligible, so it seems highly unlikely that licenses bought from resellers aren't.

Again, Urs would have to clarify...

:dog: Obviously.

Sure, buying from resellers is fine. Note that resellers have been asked to remove Zebra2 from their shops in the next few days.

Will TDZ/ZHZ be compatible with Z3? What about the other banks of Zebra presets?
Thanks!

No, zebra 3 is totally new. Zebra 2 sound sets won't work with it.

thanks

A preset converter from Z2 to Z3 would be nice

The present form of to be (is) may be a big bit premature in context of Zebra 3.

Yes.
I should clarify, Z2 itself will not be updated (unless some serious incompatibility arises within the next few days), nor will ZHZ, so if you already have the current versions installed, no need to re-install these.

But you will be able to download the free content, i.e. all the old soundsets (slightly updated and to be further updated in the future), and these will come as drag&drop packages that install themselves.

Well as of Nov. 15th Zebra2 went from the most pricey soft synth I have bought to the least expensive.
Thank you so much Uhe great group of folks.

Have you guys considered a unified installer to do it all in one-shot?

That’s what I thought we were getting, based on the email, hence my earlier question. But, it sounds like that’s not the case and they’ll just add the soundsets to our account.
Logic Pro | LUNA Pro | OB-X8 | Prophet 6 | OB-6 | Trigon 6 | Rev2 | TEO-5 | Pro 3 | SE-1X | Minitaur | Integra-7 | TR-1000 | Analog RYTM mk2 | Digitakt 2 | TD-3 MO | TD-3 | Maschine+

We have, briefly. But consider that some users may not want to re-install if they e.g. customized their installation in any way, custom paths for stuff, custom sorting of factory presets, custom GUIs and whatnot. If the plugin itself isn't updated in any way, we don't want to force a re-installation if the alternative is just giving out the soundsets to drag&drop onto the synth. That way people can also install only the soundsets they want.
