MAutodynamicEQ vs Eventide's SplitEQ

It looks like MAutodynamicEQ has many more features, yet keep seeing tutorials for this: Eventide's SplitEQ.
MAutodynamicEQ can also pan transients?
would be nice to see a comparison video
~ Thanks

It's a nicely laid out plugin, (apparently) with a sizable marketing budget behind it. I never had much use for it during my trial period, so I did not purchase it.
If I needed to pan transients, my strategy would be to use a transient designer to isolate the transients. Then I'd pan them with MSpectralPan. If they needed EQ I'd try a linear phase EQ, especially on higher frequencies. Well, that's the theory anyway.

The Multi-band plug-ins (including MXXX) have a Tonal/transient Crossover type, and you can pan each band

Transient crossover is also a spectral crossover. It splits the signal into individual frequencies and sends the transient parts for each of them into the highest band etc. It marks each frequency with its "current transientness" (defined by the percentage scale that you can see on the X axis in the crossover band editor) and puts it into the appropriate band. The crossover is linear-phase and fully transparent.
