This may be one of the best sounding Vst's I've heard in awhile.. great update! screen resolution can be better, but I'm sure they can fix that in a patch update. Great job!!
Browser is top notch, wish more browsers we're this good.

Sure dude. What does a "2010s era VST" sound like?

I do hope the improve the text. I think there is room for improvement, as shown here side by side the same size as the Korg Odyssey.

Yeah that’s a strange one. There are definitely 2000s era sounding VSTs like Pro-52, but VSTs improved exponentially in 2010s. I’d remain perfectly happy if Diva had remained the pinnacle, which was released in 2011.

Definitely a bug, I'm also getting this repeatedly. Big resonance spike on notes while I'm just playing freely. I think you've narrowed it down effectively, but yeah, this is a bad bug for sure. Hope Graham can get on top of it quickly....gentleclockdivider wrote: Wed Nov 02, 2022 11:03 am Encountered a potential bug , 2 pole filter sometimes switches to 4 pole in poly mode
Initialise the patch
...
Edit , it seems that the second held note automatically switches to the moog filter behind the scenes ,which explains the increase in resonance

Sounds phenomenal and very tempting for the sale price. It has all the vibes I am looking for, similar to Softube Model 84 and Model 72.
By the way, I don't have the Korg Arp Odyssey. Does anyone think Oddity 3 is better or on par in terms of sound and/or features? I could demo both, but I would rather take a word of advice from those who have used both. Thanks!

It would be cool to have a "synth font size" also....Echoes in the Attic wrote: Wed Nov 02, 2022 11:32 am I just realized that in the settings there is a setting for browser font size, which is cool. I changed it just from 100% to 110% and made it much better.
Little niggle: I wish the preset arrows were side by side for some extra room. I don't see why stack them on top in that small space. Hard using touch screen to hit the arrow you want.

Version 2 was brilliant sounding but a lousy browser. Fixed now i see!!! Nice. This is how a browser should be like. Nice with a proper uninstaller allso now

In my humble opinion, Oddity 3 is much better in the overall sound dept, but some may choose Korg over it. Side by side, I'd choose Oddity 3 ,it just has that something special to it, that the Korg doesn't. ymmvLoveEnigma18 wrote: Wed Nov 02, 2022 4:59 pm Sounds phenomenal and very tempting for the sale price. I have Oddity 1 to 3, Korg Odyssey plugin, Korg Odyssey FS hardware and Sonic Core Prodyssey. Guess I like Odysseys. Honestly they all provide differences that I find useful.
If I want a straight-ahead Ody sound I pull up the Korg plugin. It also has a nice arp/step-seq plus the unison mode.
If I want complex sounds, especially pads, Oddity 2 and now 3 would be my go-to.
Overall I'd definitely get Oddity 3 at the current price, then add Korg when it's on sale (that didn't help much I know).

Purchased the upgrade, but it won't show up in my account for some reason (couple hours already). But I did get the code via E-Mail so downloaded and the demo and activated it. So far, I'm very impressed and positively surprised. Great sound and so many possibilities. The modulation is amazing, too. Really worth it at that price.

Thought Gforce would be closest to hardware. Prodyssey had the sound right a decade ago but not the proper voicing.

I prefer the Korg for certain things like what the original was good for -Leads and mono sounds. The filter Type I on the korg is my favorite across both versions, nice and dirty. However Oddity has it's own nice sound and great versatility to make sounds you wouldn't think would come from an odyssey, like airy spacey pads, or heavily modulated sounds.LoveEnigma18 wrote: Wed Nov 02, 2022 4:59 pm Sounds phenomenal and very tempting for the sale price. Wouldn't work because there isn't space to expand, unlike the browser which makes the rows larger for the list, so you see fewer rows at a time. But as my picture showed comparing to the Korg, they should be able to sharpen the text.dune_rave wrote: Wed Nov 02, 2022 5:33 pmIt would be cool to have a "synth font size" also....Echoes in the Attic wrote: Wed Nov 02, 2022 11:32 am I just realized that in the settings there is a setting for browser font size, which is cool.
