Nice, I’m in the same boat, to get the Bassline in something will have to shuffle into my second rack.
I need to find a small table/support I can use on my desk to temporarily have one of my Behringer euroracks above the other then I’d be able to use everything.

Sorry, that was just terrible and I'm a horrible person for making such an obviously unfunny joke

Nice!
This is a really good pair, particularly when combined with a Morphagene. Being able to crossfade between the High pass and low pass outputs, in stereo is a really neat effect. I haven't used Qpas as a part of a synth voice much, mostly as a post effect but I'm sure it will sound very juicy with the XPO.

I've had a number of modules fail on me in different ways. Some have arrived with defects others developed issues over time. I was able to fix most issues myself. When I have contacted companies for parts, all of them have provided the parts at no charge and a few have even offered to repair or replace the module at no charge (including paying for shipping). I don't really stress about these things and I wouldn't say I've ever had a bad experience. I feel like I'm in good hands.
I've long thought about offering repair services for module makers who aren't in the US. Just not sure how much demand there would be for such a service.

yeah im looking forward to the variety, can't remember the exact number off hand, but in the video there walker mentions something like 150 possible connections (mono/summed stereo/true stereo) between just xpo and qpas alonejustin3am wrote: Fri Nov 04, 2022 5:00 pmNice!

and together they do sound pretty amazing.
but im also sure as with most things, they'll get used for all kinds. as you say, the stereo filter for morphahene or even mimeophon, clouds, erbe verb, or of course two mono filters...
a nice way to complete my system (for now) too, and if the economy tanks even further, better to do it now, before im worrying about buying a loaf of bread and some gas
if on the other hand, a few months from now, i find my bank account is getting close to my stupid savings cut off before it screws my disability benefits, i can of course look at the tip top buchla bits...

ooh, i can also lose my doepfer pan module, only has one mono in so is nowhere near as useful if im getting the xpan and also have the same function on my stereo mixer.
will make it easier at least to achieve 15/10 hp or maybe 25 on one to cover the qpas and xpan on monday
did forget to order either new cables or the koma attenuator cables
now i have to wait or pay postage on them grrr

I've almost saved up enough to go buy that MinilogueXD I've been after - again. I was just about to splurge and get both an XD and another desktop Behringer...either Cat or MS20 thingy but needed to have dental work done instead. A root filling then crown and lots of drilling inside my head instead of shiny musical toys. Bah! It's a cruel choice but had to be done.

Doepfer Wasp is on its way. I had to add something to get free delivery above €99 from Thomann. I couldn't just pay $30 + 5 for delivery. It would be unfair. I hope you understand
I can't wait to do this B2600 Frankenstein:
Osc1 - int filter
Osc2 - Ripples
Osc3 - Wasp
Or maybe some parallel or serial routing.
I feel that it will be too fat to add anything else to arrangement besides maybe kick and hihats and call it a day

get my new bits tomorrow
then im done for now, might grab cables/attenuator cables and some more star mults, but no modules or more pests
there are a few guitar pedals and the soma cosmos sampler mangler thing id like at some point, maybe towards my birthday in march.
now the plan is to get serious! while aimless noodling is fun and a great way to learn sweet spots and how things work with different kinds of modulation and such, it's good to occasionally show people i do have some clue what im actually doing
with that in mind, will have to start doing patch notes and maybe use a blank rack on mod grid, for images of patches, just using the necessary modules

Si. I don't have Wasp synth or Behringer clone for comparison, but from a few demos on YT, Doepfer module sounds nasty goodvurt wrote: Sun Nov 06, 2022 12:02 pmthe filter module? i have two! bloody awesome!pixel85 wrote: Sun Nov 06, 2022 8:36 am Doepfer Wasp is on its way. I thought this or Doepfer SVF filter, but SVF sounds to me characterless. More like bread'n'butter filter.

I’ve got the Wasp and love it, SEM too but I prefer the Wasp.
Another decent cheap filter I’d recommend is the dual VCF Hampshire Electronics, an MS-20 style one for £65.

It really comes into its own when you hit resonance and it starts screaming.
