Xhun Audio WindChant : Procedural Wind Simulation (Ver 1.2 Released)2022-09-26T11:20:28+00:00Have problems with sleeping? Here's an audio preview of something very helpful, made of wind and leaves... :)
After having a real, direct experience (of many weeks) with it, I would recommend this 5-minutes audio demo you can listen (and play in loop) for several hours, all night long.
In order to get the most realistic and natural results, be sure NOT to listen at high volume levels (specially on headphones) : the lowest audio levels have to be barely perceivable (the final volume level depends upon your listening environment).

Just a preview of a very sui generis device : the third installment of the SnapLab Collection (coming soon).xhunaudiohttps://www.kvraudio.com/forum/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=226108
I snagged a copy. Hope to use this, along with a decade of live recordings of various levels of rain and thunderstorms from the same place in my house's front alcove, to do a 'wind and weather' conceptual recording project. I'm sure it will end up being useful in a myriad of airy ways as well.
WindChant (out now) is for wind simulation, while other SnapLab devices (available later) will cover multiple "weather" scenarios (rain, fire, etc.) too.
All derived from the same particles-collision engine, having them available as separate generators makes them easier to use and less expensive.
I don't personally have the need for something like this, but seems it great for what it does. Good job, I'm sure film/game people will find this very helpful!
