I'd like to request the ability to configure Waveform's default template on the start of any new project - instead of having to do the workaround of creating a custom template and having to scroll and select it every time we start a new project.
Or allow us to set a custom template as a default template. That way when we start a new project, the default template is automatically applied.
Every time I start a new project, I have to hide the browser from view, since I never use it. I also hide the arranger, tempo, marker, and chord tracks, leaving only the master track because it takes up too much of my screen space
It's a small thing to be bothered by, but I'd like to be able to jump into a project without having to do this every time. It's become an annoyance. I've even tried editing Waveform's code to fix this, but no success. I do remember a time when this wasn't the default template. Not sure why it changed.
Please!! Thank you.
Created this account to request this feature (PLEASE, I'm begging)

What I did was save a Layout and then assign a keyboard shortcut to toggle it. It doesn't do everything I like, but it does most things (like hide the top tracks except for Master Track and open the Control Panel). So after I create a new Edit I just have to hit Alt-k.
Surely there must be consensus by now...
