Alright, alright, alright!
Let's give them the benefit of the doubt, shall we!
Stutter Edit 2 just got back at the native plugin list for 2022, so there's hope.

Hopefully they will change course for Iris 2 too, but I'm actually looking for the silicon version of Stutter Edit 2. For me that's the one that matters most.beely wrote: Fri Jul 29, 2022 2:25 pmNice to see they'll be spending the effort porting their really important, useful products like Vinyl, rather than wasting the time on things like Iris 2 and Stutter Edit 2 etc...XorXisT wrote: Fri Jul 29, 2022 11:46 amIzotope just killed the apple silicon version of stutter edit 2.![]()

iZotope recently announced they are discontinuing Iris as well as Trash and BreakTweaker. Trash I can imagine might find a new life as a Neutron module. I have my downs on the other two though. It looks like they might want to get out of making instruments all together.XorXisT wrote: Sat Oct 08, 2022 12:26 pmHopefully they will change course for Iris 2 too, but I'm actually looking for the silicon version of Stutter Edit 2. I can see them whittling down their catalog to just RX, Ozone and Neutron. Vocal Synth, which I like, is probably headed for the srap heap or will become the next Trash2 and sold for $10 to get people into the iZotope fold.

I have faith in iZotope and I love them with all my heart. Their price policy is fair : when they announce some plugin is THAT price (for example $599), you’re sure it won’t be free or $8 next month. When they buy a company such as Exponential Audio, you’re sure they’ll take care of their products for ever. When they release a plugin, you can sleep well : it will be fully exploited (Iris is an example). This is not your typical company that doesn’t give a f#ck and only tries to sell you an upgrade for a flagship product every month with a $1 difference and leaves the rest in the bin because they don’t care at all. Purchase with confidence. All hail iZotope. Yeepee ! More RX, more RX, more RX !!

Official iZotope press release...
Dear Customers,
We’re writing to let you know that iZotope products Iris 2, BreakTweaker, and Trash 2 will no longer be available for purchase from iZotope.com. Support for these products will remain in effect for 12 months from your date of purchase.
If I own one of these products, can I still use it?
Yes. Your product will not be deactivated or change from its current state.
Will I still get maintenance updates?
If you have purchased these products through iZotope.com within the last 12 months, we will continue to provide you with technical support and updates to address critical issues that arise for up to 12 months from your purchase date. The support period for these products will end on October 27, 2023 for all users. We will not actively test compatibility of these products on new operating systems or host application versions after October 27, 2022, and the current system specifications for these products will not change. For a list of the product system requirements go here.
Why are you discontinuing these products?
iZotope is continually developing new products, services, and solutions to enable and innovate on journeys in audio production. We occasionally need to retire older products in order to focus our resources and development efforts on building new, innovative products and features.
Will I still be able to download the product from your website?
Yes. You can still download, install, and authorize these products. Installers can be downloaded using Product Portal or our Legacy Downloads page. Your purchased serial numbers will continue to authorize these products. You can find your serial numbers in the Purchase History section of your Account page, or use Product Portal to install and authorize them when you are logged into your account.
We sincerely appreciate your support and regret any inconvenience this action may cause you.

Stutter Edit 2 is cool. I'm glad it's been given a new lease of life. Shame about Trash 2 but c'est la vie.
I will take the Lord's name in vain, whenever I want. Hail Satan! And his little goblins too.

Above all, it's nice to see them do the dirty work for Steinberg and discontinue VST2 support!morphex wrote: Thu Nov 24, 2022 8:57 am I just happened to notice that Stutter Edit 2 has been updated to version 2.1.0. I'm thankful for any support for this cool plug-in. From iZotope's website:
