Hello,
the new Drum & Bass Essentials kit seems not to be included with Waveform Pro unlike the other kits:

Is this normal or is it a bug?

Thanks in advance.

Hmm, on second thoughts, you're right, and it is odd.

I would say it is very, very strange. As well as the fact that several sets quietly appeared some time ago)

We wouldn't be talking about this at all if they didn't introduce something new very recently. My impression is that they are working on some things but communicating nothing here at their forum.

What they seem to be working on is ways to get people to upgrade the free version in smaller chunks. While it's not particularly exciting for owners of the PRO version, it seems like a good idea to me. The gap between Free and PRO can be filled with features and content as needed.
Surely there must be consensus by now...

You are right, it is
but should correct simple errors and user expectations :)

What they are working on is Waveform 13.

My theory is Waveform is now used as a way of selling their tracktion_engine to developers to demonstrate what is possible with it. Like a tech demo. Just a theory, but it makes me wonder as they are so quiet and the only public activity I see from them is from around tracktion_engine.

it's totally great if so. in any case, it is)
but! I am wildly annoyed by small unfinished things, such as: an 8-band equalizer, which is completely inconvenient, you need to make a bunch of movements to do something in it, it is like a useless new analyzer, completely uninformative. and I switched to the 12 pro version, in principle, only because of him. I thought that the equalizer built into the daw would close a million questions, open up a million possibilities. and it turned out that this equalizer is only annoying. but the idea is wonderful. but unfinished)) here they would have given this equalizer to the developer #TDelay Studio (the best delay on the market), he would have done everything right)) I'm kidding. Will Waveform support CLAP? also interesting. By the way, can someone explain how Ghost Tracks works?) I understand how it should work, but something is wrong with this function in Waveform) Very interesting things also happen with latency) she's special, she's dynamic at times))

It's not as full-featured as it could be, but it's relatively simple. I think it works best when showing audio under MIDI. It would be nice to be able to choose opacity levels and for MIDI data, zoom levels. Unfortunately you don't get much control beyond deciding the track(s) you want shown ghosted under another track.

If you have used it enough to say there is something wrong then I'm guessing you actually know how to use it, you just don't like how it works. Can you be a bit more specific about that?

you're right, I don't like how it works for midi. the fact that you can't adjust the brightness of ghost, you can survive it, although sometimes you can go blind looking at the cast) it's inconvenient that ghost tracks doesn't scale to the target track if the two tracks have different scales. Maybe it's worth making ghost tracks accept the scale of the target track? to match not only the size of the notes but also the position of the notes themselves?
