I'm making good progress on a Feedback and Developer account module for the database. Should have something up soon. The module will allow anyone to submit titles, corrections, and general feedback without an account, so I need to get captcha working first. Developers will have their own login to save time on submitting updates for their own products.

In the meantime: new CLAP port!

Yay!!! Thank you!!!
C/R, dongles & other intrusive copy protection equals less-control & more-hassle for consumers. Company gone-can’t authorize. Limit to # of auths. Instability-ie PACE. Forced internet auths. THE HONEST ARE HASSLED, NOT THE PIRATES.

The Feedback module is up!
Please note the following:
Anyone can submit feedback, but developers have the option of requesting a developer account. This is not an automatic process. I will vet every request.
Feedback is also not automatic. All requests are logged, and I will process them manually.
There is a captcha for all feedback to prevent abuse and bots. Note the instructions. Capcha appear as uppercase, but is entered as lowercase.
There is not much functionality for Developers other than giving them a dropdown for software corrections, and auto-populating their name, developer, and email. I hope to expand this functionality to allow direct edits in the future.

Looks like the new Reaper version 6.71 now officially supports CLAP: https://www.reaper.fm/download.php (see changelog)Funkybot's Evil Twin wrote: ↑Sat Nov 05, 2022 6:55 pmWe're not supposed to talk about it. But if you want Clap support in Reaper, it can be found if you know where to look.

You can take "Logic" off the list. Apple only supports their own AU format - not even VST2 or VST3. CLAP won't ever happen.Atlatnesiti wrote: ↑Wed Nov 30, 2022 1:04 pm - Steinberg

Steinberg supporting a 'rival' format?
Ableton maybe, unless they feel development too close to 'Bitwig'
I can see it being the smaller indy developers first, but if you have Bitwig and UHE what more do you need
X32 Desk, i9 PC, S49MK2, Studio One, BWS, Live 12. PUSH 3 SA, Osmose, Summit, Pro 3, Prophet8, Syntakt, Digitone, Drumlogue, OP1-F, Eurorack, TD27 Drums, Nord Drum3P, Guitars, Basses, Amps and of course lots of pedals!
