I've just bought a couple of Melda VSTs and I'm using FL Studio. Every time I use an instance of either MReverbMB or MAutoDynamicEQ, resizing the plugin windows makes the DAW crash. Tech support says they're not aware of this issue... does anyone else have FL Studio and some Melda stuff to test this?

I have the demo of FL Studio on Windows 11 and MReverbMB resizes without issue.

Ah OK, thanks Held. I'm on Windows 10 so it could be that. Anyone else with Windows 10 & FL Studio 20?

Tested with VST2 and VST3 of MReverbMB in FL Studio v20.9 - no crashes. Maybe more specs of your versions and system and used plugin versions (VST2 or 3?) could be helpful to the devs. And exact steps to reproduce. E.g. can you reproduce it with only one of these plugins are loaded into a fresh and clean project?
System: Win 10 64 bit / i9 9900K (8x 3.6 GHz) / 16 GB DDR4-3200 RAM / 1TB M.2 SSD + 2x 500 GB SSD / RME Babyface / Reaper

Thanks Tagirijus.

Are any of the devs here on KVR? I confirmed via customer support the versions I was using, but haven't had a reply since. I'm using v1.6 for both plugins (I've also tested both VST2 & VST3, both cause the crash). FL Studio is updated to 20.9.2

And yes, it happens even in a new project file, I'll attach some videos.

Yes, there are devs and support here, AFAIK. Maybe we should wait what they have to say. Really seems weird to me. And thenks for the screencaps!

Not facing complete crashes similar to your screencaps, but I have been only using MSoundFactory with the FL 21 alpha/beta and it seems to crash the visual parts of FL after a while (like the oscilloscope, playhead, spectrum view, etc). I also faced issues with videos crashing on my browser (MS Edge) and I have to restart the GPU process for Edge. I am not facing this issue with other synths. I will test this further in the stable version of FL and report back.

Try to disable GPU Acceleration in Settings menu.
Melda plugins works great for me in FL. But sometimes a GPU error pops up.

Sorry, can you guide me to which setting that one is please? FL Studio general settings? Or VST wrapper settings?

Nope, still crashed after changing that setting. Thanks for the suggestion though.

I had tried other VSTs after the first experiences of it and wasn't getting crashes, which is why I'd thought it was Melda related. But now all of a sudden I am getting them with others too, so that rules that out. I'll edit the topic title. Sorry about that! And thanks for your help.

Have you updated your graphics driver? (Do this using manufacturer's websites rather than Windows updates).

I've been having this exact problem and started experiencing crashes with other things as well after first noticing the issue with resizing causing crashes. I'm using Ableton Live Suite 11.2.6 and Windows 10. So, if you do find out what's causing it, please let me know! Ableton has become increasingly unstable over the last week. Everything's up to date as far as I can tell. Firmware, drivers, DAW, plugins, etc.

Sorry to be of no help, but my issue resolved on its own somehow. I didn't update anything (well, not manually at least anyway), yet the crashes stopped after around week. So, I don't know what to suggest for it.
