A $31 upgrade price is tempting ... but, I really dislike that Waves bundles don't allow installing just the pieces you want, so your plugin list is littered with things you'll never use and can't remove. Same with their mono/stereo versions, which at least I understand from a legacy perspective.
You can install the plugins you just want. It was hard but I was able to do that :)

You have to activate the bundle, don't install it. Then show all products and install just the ones you want.

Edit. Thanks to YishaiWaves in waves forum for explaining this.

Does anyone know if and whenDune 3 and VSL Synchron pianos will go on sale? I think last year dune 3 went on sale for $99

Oh wow! Now the GAS is flaring up again. I was not impressed by IR-L when I had it installed. I'll never use the De-Esser. I know RBass and RVox are considered to be the best of them. Are any of the Rrest unique in any way or better than stock DAW plugins?

Post

Unique? Yes. Better? Well...

FWIW, the only Waves purchase I continue to upgrade is the Abbey Road Collection. The other 20 licenses in my account are stuck in a graveyard of ships.

Thanks for the honest response Uncle E. It is a good deal but I did a little research. Nobody seems to hate on them. Best I can tell outside Rbass & Rvox, the main selling point for the others is simple workflow and low CPU, and they've been around forever so if someone started out with them a decade ago they might stick with them. They do seem to be widely used. Can't find any convincing reason for me to buy though. I tried. :ud:

And thank you Lazarus451 for the tip about installing components of a bundle. I never would have tried that. Good to know that a plugin can be installed individually.

Does anyone know how long the BFD3 sale is running for?

Any news on a BF sale for Sugar-Bytes this year?!
The smallest minority on earth is the individual.

Ends December 4th or 5th for ADSR (They're based in Hong Kong, so not sure of the time zone/date relation.)

December 9th for Plugin Boutique

Last year it started around Black Friday proper and lasted until the end of the month.

I noticed Sweetwater has the IK Multimedia T-Racks Tape Machine collection on sale for $29. It's on sale for $99 on IK's site. Are those both really the same product?

Looks like it. The collection on Sweetwater shows $170 off, whereas the individual tape machine plugins show $70 off.

Seems a fair bit cheaper at PB too (£37 + freebie + rewards cash) although that may depend on exchange rate.

Looks like a mistake. Get it while you can.

Hi Eric. Any idea when cherry audio will be having another sale on voltage modular core? Haven’t seen that on sale for a while, which seems strange as they seem to discount everything else pretty regularly. Thanks.

They usually do something big for Black Friday

Fueled by your post went to check what Audified may have as an unexpected BF opportunity. RecALL https://shop.audified.com/products/recall for $9 looks like a nice tool to have. At least for those hurried moments as its marketing underlines, plus I might find another uses for it. After all, I love those per track led meters (that I don't own in hardware) and it actually records performances...
However only the MAC logo is shown with OS details, so no Windows functionality?
