No wouldn't be. I wouldn't say what I said if I wouldn't be on their 'happy pa' group. I saw people writing proudly that they're paying full price, sometimes even when they have a subscription to support almighty Dirk. I don't know if they just want to show up that they have lots of money to waste or what, but such people exist. I wouldn't be surprised if they would ask Dirk (publicly of course, so everyone can see) to sell them Kirchhoff at the 'original' price, so they can show that they're better supporters than other peasants asking for promo prices.Scotty wrote: Tue Nov 15, 2022 10:08 amYOu'd be suprised how savvy the PA users are. Sure, the high launch price is a psychological marketing trick. No argument there. Intoductory pricing is a well known marketing gimmick used by numerous companies. There is an active FB group where getting deals and strategizing on getting a low price is openly discussed and Dirk is also active there. There are near daily emails advising of special pricing and numerous sales blitzes across most of the product line. A lot of us feel there is a real value add with this company. I certainly have never felt victimized or had buyer's remorse. PA users know that patience pays off. The issue of having too many plugins and too many distractions is a real issue for a lot of us. I am guilty of this and PA is responsible for feeding some of that excess. That is a different discussion though.pixel85 wrote: Tue Nov 15, 2022 6:46 am The saddest part of PA addicts is that they really believe that those prices are fair and some are even buying plugins at those "original" prices. And they proudly saying this on their "happy pa" groups lol
Kinda similar to the situation in a church where people put more money in a basket than the previous person to show that they're bigger 'believers' than others

I don't think it will be to long before we get the keys to our free update, I'm hoping within 24hrs tops. No idea what the free gift will be, maybe a hand signed picture of Dirk? who wouldn't want that?

There are people with a lot of cash and who can throw it around without too much concern. Surely you aren't bothered by that? That is not the majority of users of PA plugins. Most are there for the sales and the vouchers. It is common to see reverse bragging. "I got x plugin for 29.00." .. "Dude I used my loyality voucher and got it for $14.00". Next Comment: "anyone got an unused voucher?" . To characterize this this group they way you have is disingenuous at best.pixel85 wrote: Tue Nov 15, 2022 11:04 amNo wouldn't be. Any news on how the move from the original version to PA works?
Has anybody of the "original" users got any information about this?
I've contacted ThreeBodyTech support twice without any response...

Thanks dermage. That was an easy process. Picked Knifonium as my freebie (now I want to pick up the Audiotent presets for Knifonium making it an expensive freebie).
I know there are some that have been traumatized by PA and feel the need to use this forum as their venting board to process/workthough their issues. For me I've had zero issues with PA and they have some solid tools like Kirchhoff, MetricAB, VSM-3, and SPL TwinTube and some fun toys like Tantra 2 that I would never have purchased if not for the decent pricing deals that can be had.
I hope tons of people benefit from this and get Kirchhoff for way under the original price so that they too can also lose days over EQing
