Does tracktion recognize virtual midi ports?

I'm trying to use rewire with gigastudio 3, I have everything routed correctly, but I'm getting no audio, the meters are moving so it's getting midi but I'm getting no audio, do I have to do anything special to "activate" the rewire ports besides selecting them in the rewire device box? fanks!

I don't think so. 
I never need to in FL. I just create tracks for each rewire channel, stick the rewire filter on it, make sure FL knows to send audio to that rewire channel, and that's it.

I think I got the problem...not sure how to fix it...in the rewire device box the midi input channel, only giga ports 1 thru 8 are listed, none of the virtual midi router ports are listed...that's how you actually send midi to the rewire device correct? alright...well now any ideas on how to get the midi router ports to show up?
