Hmm. I mean, I can wait for a better Ableton upgrade sale, I have Logic which is fine, if annoying.

But are there no key moments when the Abes discount/have discounted more?

If not I'll wait to buy 11 after they've announced 12, no rush.

Discount retailer prices like Bestservice are still much less than on the Ableton site. 205/362 vs Ableton's 359/599 (current sale) and 449/749 (regular pricing). I'm actually tempted (the bestservice are upgrades from lite, which is easily available).

Ah, no upgrade price from L9 from BestService.

Hmmm, $183 from Ableton for upgrade from Suite 9 to 11.

They often do, used to be 50% more recently 30%, but having said that, I have never seen S1 discounted within 6 months of a new version release and v6 only dropped in September.

Yeah, I got 50% off 26th February 2016, cost $78.58 upgrade direct from Presonus, S1 pro to S1 3 pro. I'm looking to upgrade from 3 to 6 professional.

You can get similar deals at the moment from resellers for upgrades - though I don’t know whether that represents Black Friday pricing.

So does that mean NO upgrades being on sale? Was hoping to score a 5->6 upgrade and have been holding out. If there'll be no sale I might as well purchase now to prevent overspending elsewhere :p

It is currently not scheduled to be on sale. Some things will be, just not that upgrade.

The $150 upgrade Studio One Pro 5 to V6 is a bit too much considering not excited about the upgrade. I will wait for an under $100 sale. I suppose this will happen prior to mid 2023.

I'm still on v4, frankly not see much advantages yet (for 150 nor 100).
What regards video track - idk, i was doing two projects with video already, it seems it was S1 v3 yet, just by using built in S1 videoplayer (which have sync to transport), it seemed to me pretty convenient lol.
Hovewer, for 75 or so, would be ok perhaps.

I am on version 5 which is stable and polished enough for me. Guess I will wait, too.
