Newbie Question please, where is VCFI and what is it?

I am in my first hour with Zebra. I am going through the manual. I am familiar with Omnishpere 2 but not Zebra 2.

I initialised the app as the manual instructed.

Pg 8 of the manual states:
Now click below OSC2 and select VCF1 (a multi-mode filter).

I click below OSC2 and nothing happens.

What gives? Where is VCF1 and what is it?

I have not read that part of the manual, but for quick help I think they mean to click on the voice patching grid in the middle of the Zebra window.

And VCF1 is of course the standard Zebra filter module.
