I was tempted about that Waves deal but no. Not for me. I have enough v12, v13, v14 plugins from them and I like to pay only once, except for major updates with additional features. But that is enough about wup.

Are the old versions totally unusable ?

I always thought, that, at last on windows, it was just a question about using differentierer installere for each version number, and maybe some other steps in orde to get it to work

The $150 upgrade Studio One Pro 5 to V6 is a bit too much considering not excited about the upgrade. I will wait for an under $100 sale. I suppose this will happen prior to mid 2023.

The best price I've found for the upgrade is $119 at Thomann US. I'm probably waiting for a half-off sale, too, though.

V10-V14 all work fine for me on Win 10, and they all use the same installer. No extra steps needed

All old Waveshells work for me on my 10 year old PC running Windows. Never had a problem
