I think we are at a point where most of us are feeling the spirit of the emulations and are inspired by them. Regardless those that chase down every remaining detail are what has got us to this point. Sometimes we don’t know what we’re missing until someone shows us. Looking forward to the next generation. Already my 5950x Ryzen doesn’t feel as snappy as it did last year. I’m not a developer but it seems that getting closer to perfection is correlated to compute power. These new generation of emulations are demanding.

In my non-expert opinion, I think Softube is boosting the low-end on their synths and cheating a bit. I like their emulations, but it sounds like there's some EQ boosting lows. It's the same with their Juno which I otherwise love. At the moment, I still think The Legend is my favorite, the Moog iOS app/AU plugin version also sounds good IMO (but I never use it because iOS/Mac only), also still pretty pleased with the sound of Monark.

I would love to put my findings into a new emulation of my own, but I can not stall the projects I'm already working on.

Hey, if the emulations keep getting worse, then there's always 2025/2026 for a new U-he version. By then, the newer emulations will be awful [since we're trending in the wrong direction] and yours will be a breath of fresh air!
