As of a few days ago, all Melda plugins disappeared from my DAW's list of available VSTs. All my efforts to get them back have failed.I initially saw this in Reaper issue (my usual DAW) and did some troubleshooting there (https://forum.cockos.com/showthread.php?p=2615976 (https://forum.cockos.com/showthread.php?p=2615976)). However, as a test I installed the demo version of Cakewalk and it can't see the Melda VSTs either.
I'm on Windows 10 but the problem occurred more than a week after the last automatic update.
The plugins are installed under C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3. I've done a clear reinstall of Reaper (twice now), Cakewalk is a fresh install and I've cleaned and reinstalled from the Melda installer twice.
I've also manually updated the VC++ redistributables.
Reaper doesn't produce a log file -- it just says the VSTs "failed to scan". Cakewalk does produce a log but doesn't report any problem: the VSTs appear to be scanned fine but they simply don't show up in its lists.
This is affecting all the Melda plugins I have installed -- some free and some paid-for. Specifically: MSaturatorMB, MRotary, MSaturatorMB, MCabinetMB, MAnalyzer, MOscilloscope, MDynamicEq
Any idea what might be going on here, or what I could try?
