Yes, I found it easy to use, intuitive.

I've held off on trying it because I popped over to its support forum and, at the time, users were requesting a lot of basic routing things that made me suspect it was still in a very early form. Glad to see it has continued to evolve.

And not to change the topic, but I really appreciated tmaworks' comment the other day that he didn't want to turn Waveform into Reaper. It does seem that people get fed up with one DAW, try Waveform and like it, but then request that Waveform modify itself to become like the DAW they hate! I was glad to read tmaworks also has spotted this. I got a good chuckle out of that.
The support forum is pretty darn inactive from what I can tell -But, I think it's growing... slowly.

There aren't many tutorials online, but the ones that are up aren't bad and the program is... somewhat easy enough to figure out?? Some of the things in it are a little whacky to me, but that might be because I'm just used to STRAIGHT UP TRACKING daws. Like, I'm not into midi at all, and I really don't think that way...

If you press "P" in waveform that takes you to a settings menu where you can change the theme and whatnot. Found that out by accident watching a video, which was nice. I intend to put it through the paces for tracking at some point, although I'm not quite sure how to go about that yet -I don't think there is a "Tracking mode" in it... I dunno... I just know that it has the undo/ redo function that I want and that's what my main quest was at the time. I just kinda found out that it might be alright for other stuff, too... Haha!

My nightmare is for Waveform to become like Reaper. Just, no -Stay away from Reaper, Waveform Devs. Stay far, FAR AWAY...

Literally, the ONLY things that I wish Waveform would take from Reaper is the undo/ redo function (or I could say they could take it from Soundbridge, as well...) and the invert phase button that is included on each track, just like the mute and solo buttons. That is literally ALL. For me, if Waveform would change those TWO things. I imagine I'd use Waveform exclusively...

An undo feature that lists the last few actions would not only fix that (so I could see what the heck I just did), but would probably eliminate a fair amount of complaints from folks here about "weird bugs" that they themselves may have inadvertently caused by typing a key that did something in the background.
I recall asking for a "oh shit what I have I done?" feature to list recent hotkey presses for exactly this reason. The response I got seemed to miss the point. They said something about how it's too technically difficult to describe each undo step or something. I wasn't asking about undo steps, just hotkey triggers. I wish I could find the thread but I haven't had much luck with KvR's search features for a while now.

I wonder if they will fix the bug in the save Layout dialog where some key presses are handled as hotkeys even though the text entry is definitely in focus...
Didn't realize what a detriment this was until today -First day doing a serious, "full" session in Waveform and not having the ability to see WHAT YOU'RE ACTUALLY UNDOING is bad-bad. No, no. Really didn't see what the big deal was until today when I pushed undo three times before it actually undid what I wanted to undo. I was like "Okay, what did I undo in order to get to this??" There's just something about the workflow that isn't quite "flowing" with Waveform, in my opinion...

Another thing I noticed is that "shift+select" will work for somethings, but not others. For example, you can't shift+select and mute all the tracks you selected, nor can you shift+select and arm for record or disarm all the tracks you selected. It's just... annoying. Golly-gee... At least I couldn't do those things. I'm on 12...

I think you put your finger on it exactly. The undo features in Waveform are the opposite of what you'd expect from it.
Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, and even Deezer, whatever the hell Deezer is.

The crazy thing, too, is that it just doesn't even make sense. Like, it seems "buggy"/ Not logical, perhaps...
