Just wondering, but, what's the technical benefit of using the CLAP version over other formats, which also run in Bitwig or Reaper?

Depends a bit on the development workflow, but it has performance gains as a result and a liberal license and easier to handle code than vst3 for example. + you can wrap into vst3/AU.

In Bitwig you get per voice modulation also.
