Any News On Waveform 13??

it's been pretty quiet around here on the forum. any news on 13 yet? does anybody have any info?

I'm still waiting on any news about v12. It was released, a few videos came out about new features, and then dropped. There's a bunch of threads open here with fairly substantial concerns about 12...and nothing.

I still can't record audio in v12 without cracking audio and a periodic whining sound. I'm forced to use 11.5 for a majority of my work. I don't even want to think about v13.

waveform_64bit_v11.2.22 is the best for me

it really feels like something has changed over at Tracktion. Lots of sales, and focus on the 3rd party synths, but almost nothing on the core product. Starting to feel like abandonware with the website nothing more than a storefront.

There is a lot of further development in the core product. The development can be freely tracked on Github:

• The Tracktion Engine has just made a big version jump from 1.2 to 2.0 (v1 to v2)
• JUCE Framework version 7 has been integrated
• pluginval has made major version jumps the last months from 0.3 to 1.0.2

I think many of these changes will be included in the next version of Waveform

good info. let's hope the next "version" is an update to 12 rather than a brand new 13.

Yeah , I think crashes and plugin compatibility is what's been holding it back since Tracktion3 (Waveform) I haven't updated since 11 , I kind of sit on the sidelines now and watch. I hope they succeed as a company though Tracktion1 NFR was my 1st DAW . So I've always had a soft spot for it .
