Connector and Remote Control

Hello,
I purchased remote control and connector, because I want to create a single unified control surface cross daw (I use Bitwig as a rack for my sound design and live for my mixer, and Renoise as a sampler drum machine). Pretty much trying to build a "groove box".

I have been trying to get the network control server on the stand alone app to work so I can send and receive midi messages.

I am using default port numbers. Send works fine. Receiving midi however, doesn't work the way it should I would imagine. The UI keeps saying connected not connected every half a second and drop outs go to 100. I changed buffer size in remote server to 1024 instead of default to try to see if that was the issue.

I am also using the VST(not VST3) version because I have read that version might have issues.

Any suggestions?

This indeed looks like a buffering issue. What is the buffer size in Bitwig? You want to make sure that the buffer size on the server is the same or a multiple of it. You can read more about this here.

Ha, I managed to solve the problem, had to do with the sample rate, that's embarrassing, bigwigs samplerate was set to Auto!
