Yeah, I didn't want to say that there's not some compelling stuff in the upgrade, I'm just saying that the base sound will be the same, as it's the same synth engine, same oscilators, same filters etc.kraster wrote: Fri Dec 09, 2022 4:58 pmApart from the synth engine stuff they also have a New Reverb, added a distortion and syncable LFOs too!

This is great news!- I was getting ready to give up on Vanguard at some point, as the 32-bit wrapper doesn't work on newer OS. It's such a great synth and actually my staple bass instrument for suspense scoring! - very cool that it's compatible with the original. The upgrade deal is fair too
Just installed it -not sure how to find my older presets though, they aren't showing in the browser.

I was on the fence about grabbing Vanguard 2, primarily out of nostalgia reasons I suspect, but these skins might push me into doing so - great stuff.

It's a pity installing Vanguard 2 overwrites Vanguard. I'm not convinced that it sounds the same, and there's no way to compare side-by-side.

Through things, in my personal life, unfortunately a small pause on working with the skins came up. Otherwise, they might already be available.
A few fine tuning things after Christmas, and then you should be done.

Those look nice. You have a good eye for colours and contrast.
I also think it's a good idea in the first skin to distinguish the arp section, the GUI looks less busy and more clear that way.
The second one is a tad too dark for my taste, but, it's good as well.
