Can't restore user presets from backup

I have the problem that i can't restore my own user presets. I have the backup file, i restore the presets and i get the notification that 256 files are restored. But none of my user presets will show up. I hope this bug can be fixed, because i invested a lot (!) of time in making these.

I recently switched to different hardware and upgraded to windows 11. Reinstalled my daw and every plugin of the mcomplete bundle. I am currently using the 16.02 version, but i also had this version installed on my old pc and there was no problem at all.

Any ideas?

Interested. I've been backing up my user presets manually and haven't tried the built-in preset archive feature.

By backing up manually you mean (at least for windows) separately saving the folder C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\MeldaProduction ?

I really hope the bug can be fixed.
The 16.02 update had the patchnote "Fix: Preset backup didn’t work properly with the new format."
This makes me guess Melda is aware of some sort of bug, which maybe didn't get fixed for all users. Fingers crossed.

While i'm waiting for an answer from the melda support (not here, i wrote a mail), i tried a few things:
I installed version 15 and with version 15 i could restore every backup file of mine, older than ~3 months. But i couldn't get any of the newer back up files restored. But i at least get an error message, which is not happening in version 16:
" Text outside of any element. 'x | $ " ! v 3;oy3 P #x *X *|' "

Is it possible that i made some preset description texts with "forbidden" characters that could be saved, but not be restored in the new format?!
