Did anyone made any screenshots of this plugin inside PluginDoctor yet?
I'd be curious to see the Beauty & Beast harmonic structure...

Because they sell for a few bucks in their endless only-now for practically nothing sales?
Or because it ends in one of their bundles?

That is a good observation. I have the UAD-2 Culture Vulture and the Arturia version as well. Both are useful but difficult to dial in for subtle crunch. I have a Elektron Analog drive box and a custom tube Pre Amp made from an old Heathkit hi - fi that I use to warm up some audio. BB Tubes for win at least for me.zerocrossing wrote: Wed Nov 30, 2022 3:08 pm Definitely a good value, and probably something I’d go for when Arturia’s Culture Vulture is more than I need to sweeten up a track.

I’ve got the UAD one as well. Different but equally good to the Arturia. I actually sold my Analog Heat when Arturia released its new distortion plugins. Between what I had in UAD and other good native plugins, I was feeling that the Analog Heat wasn’t getting much use any longer. I haven’t even tried out the new Moog one yet, but I got it as part of the Moogerfooger set, and the drive in the delay plugin was maybe the best diode style drive I’ve ever heard in software.Scotty wrote: Sat Dec 10, 2022 4:42 pmThat is a good observation. I used to be of the mind that distortion was the last frontier that software hadn’t really been able to tame. I picked all my hardware accordingly. I like saturated and aggressively distorted tones a lot. If I were starting out now… I’d probably have less hardware. I do keep a Torcido (love the sound of that thing) on the output of my Dominion 1, and a Blackstar HT-5 Dual in my AxeFX’s loop. I’ve yet to find a guitar solution that I like as much.

Reading this in a melda sub is on point satire
It runs on my machine! Everything else is undefined behavior.

Within a huge universe of seemingly infinite choices, I like MSaturator and MWaveshaper.
Same guy in the video also showed how to use the free MWaveshaper to replicate Oxford
Inflator btw:

EDIT: Sorry, I posted too soon before I realized others had already posted it. Didn't find the delete function for a post.

This Inflator video is what first made me interested in Melda plugins! Coincidentally, I used both Inflator and MSaturator on a mastering chain earlier today.sirmonkey wrote: Wed Dec 14, 2022 10:25 pm

Looks like I duplicated what others posted already as well. But sometimes the graphics hang up for a minute or two, so I didn't realize that I was posting the same thing.

I checked this Waves thingy and don't get me wrong, it's fine, but nothing I couldn't do in a few seconds in MSaturatorMB. But it's likely that we may be listening to some different aspect of the sound, hard to say. Anyway I'm happy with MSaturatorMB and don't see a need to try to clone this in it really.
