Hi! Please, could someone help me? I'm trying to freeze a drum bus, but I can't get any sound from the bus after freezing. The routing is this:
There is a Rack including a Groove Agent VST. It's duplicated to multiple tracks to get the multi output (1). These drum tracks are automatically routed to the Folder Track 'Groove Agent' (2). Then it goes to another track '__DRUMS', which acts as a drum bus (3). When I try to freeze the number 3, there is no sound. Level Meters 1 and 2 don't show any activity, same as the no. 3 Meter. The __BASS and __SYNTH buses are freezed without any issue.
It doesn't work even if I replace the Folder Track 2 with a Submix Track (i even don't know what's the difference between the Folder and Submix Track).
Where is the problem? Thank you

In this case I would have each of the drum tracks routed directly to the bus. I've always treated the folder as just a container, a screen organiser, never as a bus. Don't even think it does function as a bus in the way you have it set up?
Try manually routing all the tracks to the bus first, see how you go from there. Ignore the Folder track (container)

I found the issue! But I'm not able to replicate it. Waveform simply created a Submix instead of the Folder track. I tried several ways of creating a Folder and now I simply get the Folder ;-) instead of the Submix. Weird.

Thank you very much. In fact, that was my intention. To use the Folder Track just as a screen organizer. But it's clearly visible from the picture: Waveform created a Submix instead of the Folder. I couldn't route tracks in the white rectangle (1) directly to the drum bus. They were 'hardwired' to the Submix (2). But as I wrote in the previous post, I couldn't replicate the bug.
Now I can also understand the difference between the Submix and the Folder! Weird. But again, thank you for the reply!

I also realized; Sends don't receive signal when freezed. I had to place the send (SD Reverb) into the Groove Agent Folder (2). It still can be a Send/Return, but within the same Folder.
AND!!! Sidechain doesn't freeze at all. Bass with a sidechain compressor triggered by a Kick is quite usual. Even if I freeze the Bass track first, and the Kick as a second.

You can't add effect plugins to a Folder track so when you do, Waveform will automatically change it to a Submix track.
Surely there must be consensus by now...
